I credit my Lower East Side, New York roots with an inspiring and eclectic career in multicultural advertising and storytelling. I am a writer, speaker, performer, and consultant.
I have written and produced award-winning work for stage and screen. I have been published in literary journals including Lilith, Off Assignment, Next Avenue, The Independent, The Forward, Lunch Ticket and others. My one-woman-show, Hip Bones and Cool Whip, was well reviewed by LA Weekly and the LA Times. I have studied Improv with The Groundlings and have done Stand-Up comedy in Los Angeles. I have a BFA from UC Irvine and an MFA from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
I have been involved in developing culturally attuned strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 Brands including P&G, Warner Bros., Lexus and many more. As a pioneering contributor to US Hispanic marketing's evolution, I have been tapped as a source by major news outlets and pubs, including Ad Age where I was a contributing blogger on Diversity related topics.
